Welcome to First Lutheran Church!

"Praising Our God and Loving His People..."

Who are we as this community of faith called First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Idaho Falls? Hopefully these pages of information will bear witness to the fact that we are a community of faith seeking to "Praise our God and love His people". The Scripture verses that follow from Colossians are marching orders to us for ministry that we seek to follow.

Hopefully, as you acquaint yourself with who we are, you will want to join us in the mission we undertake in Jesus' name. You will be welcome at First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Idaho Falls.

Each week is a distinct lesson, so don't worry if you have to miss once in a while. Invite your friends! For more info, contact Carole Mason or Marda Kirkwood.

ROOF Fundraising Campaign: As you may know, First Lutheran has been working on replacing the roof on our building. The congregation approved the financing for the roof replacement in the Fall of 2017. The amount of the loan to fund the roof replacement is approximately $90,000. The FELC Finance Team is now working on a fund-raising campaign to pay down the loan amount with the goal of paying off the loan as early as possible. We will track our progress on the Roof Campaign Board in the Narthex. Please consider giving or pledging toward the campaign to pay off the roof. If you are able to - please use a blue pew envelope and mark it "ROOF". Thank you and God Bless! Amount raised to date: $18,342.00
